Laura Albanese is proud to serve the community of York South-Weston, where she has lived for over 30 years and raised her family.
Prior to serving as Member of Provincial Parliament, Laura built a successful career in broadcast journalism. She distinguished herself as an anchor and producer of Italian-language news for OMNI Television, and in 2006 was named one of 32 “Inspiring Canadian Women of Italian Origin” by the Italian Chamber of Commerce in Toronto.
Elected in 2007, Laura currently serves as Parliamentary Assistant to the Minister of Tourism and Culture.
Laura is married with two adult children.
